This place was awesome all the way around! We showed up with about 20 people and they did a fabulous jo. Timing, seating, service, drinks.
We weren't sure where to eat, so we popped into 50/50 Taphouse at random. It was a pleasant surprise. There are extensive beer and cider offerings, as well as wine and drinks. I appreciated that they brewed iced tea, instead of having nasty fountain tea. The menu has an impressive variety of burgers. The ground beef can be substituted for chicken breast or black bean patty if meat isn't your thing. They offered gluten free buns, however, the fryer isn't dedicated to fries/tots. If your cross contamination/contact sensitive then be mindful of that. As an appetizer we got loaded tots and gravy/cheese tots. Both were amazing. One recommendation would be to install a diaper changing station in the restroom. We had to change our baby on a bench. There were at least four infants (aside from ours) in the restaurant when we visited, so it's super kid friendly otherwise. Leaving with full bellies!!!!! We will definitely return!
It’s hard to find a place where everything is great, this is that place. Burgers were amazing, huge variety. The fried Oreos were decadent and well priced. They even had options for kids meals. Everyone was happy. Friendly atmosphere and employees. Will be back. (Pictured: Fat Elvis Burger and Fried Oreos) Worth a mention: The Taphouse is right beside the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum so you could stop for a bit with the kids before or after a museum visit.
Really happy with everything. The service was great and you can build your own flight of beer or cider. Really good variety of ciders which was nice to see and they were all great. The burger was a thick nice burger cooked perfectly. Nice to see a real burger and not a smash burger. You can find something to fit your taste with 50 to choose from. The fries were thin and cooked well. Nice addition to a burger. Definitely would return for more choices.
Cute burger place! Tons of seating inside, with plenty of beers to pick from. The burgers are huge and super filling, while being cooked to your liking. The menu is huge with almost too many to pick from, so many sound delicious! Fries were also crispy and the pickle was nice.
Great experience! I had the Ajo Burger, no tomato, and it was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the fries, even though I typically don't like fries like that. I paired it with a Danish pilsner, Carlsbad Pilsner. It was midday and mostly empty, so service was prompt and also friendly. The music was good.
This is the best tasting burger for many miles. 50 of them on the menu. Great taste and not dried out like most places. Great beer selection. Also 50 of them. Strange that this place hosts drag events frequently. But when that is not going on its family friendly and plenty of seating. Good quick service all around.
We were looking for a pet friendly restaurant and 50/50 has an outdoor patio. They immediately made our pup comfortable with greetings and a fresh bowl of water. We ordered beers, fried pickles and three different burgers, everything was great. Cold beers, delicious burgers and crispy fries. We would definitely go back!
Perfect place to grab a beer and watch a game. I did just that and enjoyed one of the beers on special. So good! Service was excellent (shout out to Kate!) and they were able to modify a food order for me. Huge indoor and outdoor spaces make this a great set up for groups. Loved the shuffleboard tables. Fun spot!
50/50 burger was top notch! Wide selection of brews and a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend it. I can imagine at peak times that it might get a bit noisy, but it was perfect on the Saturday night I was passing through town. It will be on my list to repeat for sure!
